Uploaded assets go to root instead of folder when a folder is open

Current behavior

When uploading an asset while inside a folder, the asset ends up in the root.

Expected behavior

The asset should end up in the folder I’m in when I drag the asset in or click the select files button.

Minimal reproduction of the problem

  • Open a folder
  • Upload a file
  • The file ends up in the root.

This bug appears to have been resolved back in April, but it’s back.
