My company has a multi-app, multi-tenant structure so the number of configurations grows quickly. For each of our customers, we must have a unique “app” to configure our product specifically to them. That customer may use several of our products, each requiring its own app/configuration.
We’ve implemented a naming convention like customer-product, but as we begin to roll this out to hundreds of clients, locating the configurations will become laborsome.
The suggested feature would allow for a “filter” option to be present on the apps dashboard that would pick up on something like “tags” on each app, and allow the user to filter by the tags. Eg. ‘product’ or ‘client’ tags set up like ‘product:webapp1’ and ‘client:Amazon’, for example.
