For almost 48 hours we had a problems with uploading assets in the cloud version.
We are hosting the assets in Google Cloud Engine and the client library for GCE had a bug, that started to make problems after Google made a small change to their storage system.
I posted the problem on stackoverflow and they fixed the client library within a day.
It is highly recommended to update to the latest version if you are hosting your assets in GCE.
