Yes – this is what were using (LinqPad, actually).
How should this feature look like?

Maybe in the multi-select context:
Add a copy button.
Which adds a paste bucket on the top UI context (next to the download). In the content area you can paste – which would paste matched fields into new content items. Obviously that could go wrong if nothing matched. Also associated fields would be a bit of a mess (as they may lack proper linkages).
Hmm. Now that I think of it – may not be the best idea. 
Maybe just for assets?
Hi @Sebastian any update on this feature to copy paste assets/articles from one app to another (basically to manage test, prod, staging and dev environments on Squidex Cloud)
As a fallback for now any references of this can be easily achieved in the CLI (in a contextual way to migrate content based on schema)
I have no plans for this yet.
It causes too many issues to implement this task in the UI. Some errors are very hard to resolve in a user friendly way. Therefore it is declined for now.
