I am trying to compete an Squidex update from 3.5. 0 through 4.7.5 to 5.3.0.

I was success restoring a backup of 3.5.0 to 4.7.5. I made some

I have exported now a 4.7.5 backup, to which I hope would migrate semi-seamlessly into 5.x or specifically 5.3.0

The restore app tool in 5.3.0 reports the backup file is not compatible.

What steps would you take to migrate from 4.7.5 to 5.3.0+?

Would this all need to be performed using the Squidex CLI? Do you have a typical script to move all field akd content over? I am not interesting in preserving much historically. Simply the latest state of all schema and content. We utilize custom editors over the json fields, and it is very important for all this data come migrate without concern.

If you want to migrate your instance you just have to deploy the new version and it will do it automatically. Please make a backup before using mongo restore.
