If an Asset field is added to the schema and the type of this asset data is selected as Image, an additional feature appears and the Add Watermark option appears. A text written here can be written directly on the assets. A feature that includes the asset writing position would be nice. For example, Left Down, Right Up, Diagonal etc.
I guess most people would prefer another asset to be used as watermark. But I don’t see how this is related to schemas.
But why there? I mean the asset is not queried for a specific schema. How should this work? How do you know, when you query an asset by ID, that this asset is used for this particular schema?
I understand what you mean. You are right. Maybe it would be more accurate if it was positioned as a feature on the assets side. But what came to my mind was that when the Asset field created on a schema has such a configuration, a watermark would be applied to the images loaded through this field.
Probably on the folder level.
I have added the logic to the asset resize options, so you can add watermarks on the fly. This is just the first step to that.
