Backup and restore app including images

Hi,

just need to have something clarified.

A while ago I had a backup of an app of mine.

This app had blog post content and images.

When I later restored this backup in ANOTHER instance of Squidex on ANOTHER machine I remember the images weren’t restored properly. I think they just pointed somewhere else with a completely new GUID.

I’m wondering how this scenario works today?

Can I do a backup on one Squidex instance, take that backup, and restore it on a completely different Squidex instance WITH all of my images restored properly?

Images are restored properly, but yes, they get a new ID. But I am working on a fix, but it is huge.

No, the internal GUID does not exist anymore. It is just a combination of (app-id + content-id) which makes it unique. One problem why I cannot delete old items are that background processes might be still running, e.g. a kafka or webhook integration.
